I have e.coli in my urine culture so its up in my kidneys no vomiting no nausea no diarehha temp hovering low 96 finishing my 10 days tomoro of ciprofloxicin 500mg 2x day back pain hi and low every bone and muscle hurts not getting better see doc tues culture susceptable blood in urine leuk neg prot + nitrite + so on am i contagious will i live

I would suggest you not to be this much worrried yes you will live UTI doesn't kill a person untell is some other serious disorder going on , if one drug doesn't work there are tens others, just follow instructions of the doctor, take good care of yourself and take medications regulary you will improve if cipro doesn't work well there are many other meds which are stronger than cipro your doctor will give you that.
Do not lose hope and calmly discuss this with your doctor and discuss about medication change, other sensitive drugs can be used too.
